Healthy Rosh Hashanah Menus
Two complete menus – from challah and appetizers to desserts and warm beverages – are waiting for you with links to free tried-and-tested recipes.
All recipes are dairy free – suitable to eat during and after a meal containing chicken. (See: What Is Kosher?) We offer fish dishes that can be served as a first course, soup, vegetarian dishes and gluten free options. We included traditional elements as well as innovative creations. Most of the dishes can be prepared in advance; many can be eaten cold and make great appetizers. You can adapt the menus or mix-and-match between them to create the ideal menu for you, one that caters to the tastes and needs of your loved ones.
Planning Rosh Hashanh Meals
When planning multiple-course meals, it’s always a good idea to allow for extra time and backup ingredients, just in case. Ideally, you should read each recipe through before beginning to make it. All recipes come with a complete ingredient list, tested measurements, and required equipment.
