Vegan Sesame Date Granola Recipe

Follow this healthy Vegan Sesame Date Granola Recipe to merge the flavors of delicious earthy sesame with naturally sweet dates. Showcase the sesame using sesame seeds and unhulled tahini. Vegan Sesame Date Granola
Equipment
- Electric Mixer
- Large Baking Pan
- Large Baking Sheet
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Wholegrain Tahini Paste (unhulled)
- 3 tbsp Water (to yield ½ cup tahini spread)
- 1/2 cup Silan – Date Honey
- 3 cups Oats
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Sesame Seeds
- 3/4 cup Medjool Dates (organic without preservatives and no added sugar – measured after cut into small pieces- about 5-6 dates)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

- In an electric mixer, blend the tahini paste with the water until it turns creamy.

- Add ¼ cup silan and blend well.
- On a low speed, gradually add the oats and cinnamon and whisk until well blended.
- On a low speed, blend in the sesame seeds.
- Manually crumble the dough onto a baking pan lined with a baking sheet.

- Bake for 15 minutes. Let Cool.
- Cut the pitted dates into small pieces. You can use a scissor.

- Toss he date pieces into the baked granola and distribute well.
