Instructions
Roast The Blanched Almond Slices
Preheat the oven to 302 degrees Fahrenheit (150 degrees Celsius).
Place the blanched almond slices in a baking tray lined with a baking sheet.
Bake for 7 minutes or until light golden. Remove and cool.
Prepare The Mocha Brownies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
Whisk the blanched almond butter and eggs on a high speed until fluffy.
Add the honey and whisk another minute.
Add the liquid coffee and vanilla and whisk until blended.
On a low speed gradually add the cocoa powder and whisk until well blended.
Add the other dry ingredients and mix on a low speed until well blended.
Add the pre-roasted almond slices and blend well.
Pour into a nonstick baking pan (9 by 10 inches – 23 by 25 centimeters).
Bake for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool.
Top With Almond Mocha Glaze

Spread the glaze over the baked brownies.
Let it cool well.
Cut lines lengthwise and widthwise to create small cubes.
Remove the cubes from the pan.
Notes
For liquid coffee you can use 3 tablespoons of strong coffee (of your choice) instead of instant coffee.
