Sautéed Carrots

Equipment
- 1 Nonstick frying pan with cover
Ingredients
- 2 Onions (diced)
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 6 Carrots (cut into thin rounds)
- 1 tbsp Sweet Paprika
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Salt (adjust to taste or health requirements)
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup Water
Instructions
- In a nonstick frying pan, sauté the onions, partially covered, in olive oil until golden brown. Stir from time to time.
- Add the carrots and continue sautéing, stirring from time to time till they begin to soften.
- Add the spices and water and continue stirring from time to time until tender. You may have to add a little more water if the liquid evaporates.
