Roasted Chicken & Apple Flower

Equipment
- 1 Nonstick Baking Pan (medium size)
- 1 Apple Slicer (optional)
- 1 Meat Mallet Tenderizer
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken Thighs (remove skin & trim fat)
- 1 tbsp Sweet Paprika
- 1 tbsp Granulated Garlic (spice)
- 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Apple (large)
- 4 Prunes (organic, no added sugar)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Remove the skin from the chicken thighs and trim the fat. Wash the chicken and drain well. Gently flatten the top surface of the chicken thighs with a meat mallet tenderizer.
- Wash, core and slice the apple into 8 parts. This can be done with an apple slicer.
- Peel the skin and slice each part in half lengthwise (to form 16 parts). Set aside.
- Mix the chicken with the spices until well distributed.
- Place onto a nonstick baking pan.
- Arrange the apple slices on top of the flat chicken surface like a flower and place a prune in the middle.
- Bake uncovered for 50 minutes or until golden brown.
