Equipment

  • 1 Nonstick Baking Pan (medium size)
  • 1 Apple Slicer (optional)
  • 1 Meat Mallet Tenderizer

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Chicken Thighs (remove skin & trim fat)
  • 1 tbsp Sweet Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Granulated Garlic (spice)
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Apple (large)
  • 4 Prunes (organic, no added sugar)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  • Remove the skin from the chicken thighs and trim the fat. Wash the chicken and drain well. Gently flatten the top surface of the chicken thighs with a meat mallet tenderizer.
  • Wash, core and slice the apple into 8 parts. This can be done with an apple slicer.

  • Peel the skin and slice each part in half lengthwise (to form 16 parts). Set aside.
  • Mix the chicken with the spices until well distributed.
  • Place onto a nonstick baking pan.
  • Arrange the apple slices on top of the flat chicken surface like a flower and place a prune in the middle.

  • Bake uncovered for 50 minutes or until golden brown.
