Ingredients
Dressing Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Fresh Lemon Rind
- 2 tsp Crushed Garlic Cloves (measured after crushed)
- 1/2 tsp Salt (adjust to taste or health requirements)
- 1/8 tsp Ground Black Pepper
Salad Ingredients
- 3 cups Romaine Lettuce (measured after thinly sliced)
- 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes (measured after cutting into lengthwise quarters)
- 3 tbsp Fresh Dill (measured after removing the thick stalks, then thinly sliced)
- 3 cups Ripe Avocado (about 2 avocados – measured after peeled and cut into small cubes)
Instructions
Create The Dressing
- Gather the ingredients.
- Mix all the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Set aside.
Create The Salad
- Gather the ingredients.
- Wash the lettuce well and dry.
- Slice the lettuce thinly and set aside.
- Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut lengthwise into quarters. Set aside.
- Wash the fresh dill well.
- Remove the thick stalks. Thinly slice the remaining leaves. Set aside.
- Peel the avocados and cut in half lengthwise. Remove the inner pit.
- Cut into small cubes.
- Place all the salad ingredients together in a large bowl.
- Pour the pre-prepared dressing over the salad and gently mix.
Notes
Prepare the avocados toward the end of the recipe since they have a tendency to blacken. The lemony dressing helps preserve their color.
Ideally, this salad should be prepared as close to serving time as possible.
