Follow this easy Lettuce, Apple & Grape Salad Recipe to create a delicious colorful salad. Chock-full of flavors and nutrients, this healthy salad is a real treat. It is gluten free, dairy free, and can be easily incorporated into many meals.

- Small Bowl
- Nonstick Frying Pan (small)
Ingredients
Salad Ingredients
- 8 cups Round Lettuce (measured after sliced)
- 2 Red Apples With Peel (cored & cut into thin slices)
- 2 cups Purple Grapes (whole)
- 2 tbsp Blanched Almond Butter
- 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 4 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Lemon Zest
- 1 tsp Thyme (spice)
- 1/2 tsp Salt (adjust to taste and health requirements)
- 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
Topping Ingredient
- 1/2 cup Almond Flakes (toasted)
Instructions
Toast The Almond Flakes
- In a small nonstick frying pan, on a low flame, toast the almond flakes until golden. Let cool.
Salad Instructions
- Gather the salad ingredients.
- Wash the lettuce thoroughly and slice into 1 inch strips.
- Wash the apples, leave the peel, and slice them into small pieces.
- Wash the whole grapes.
- Toss all three ingredients together.
Dressing The Salad
- Mix the almond butter and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl.
- Add the honey, lemon juice and zest and mix well.
- Blend in the other ingredients and stir until blended well.
- Add the dressing to the pre-prepared salad and mix well.
- Top the salad with toasted almonds.
Notes
Though the salad can be prepared in advance, it is best to toss it with the dressing right before serving.
