Salad Ingredients
- 8 cups Round Lettuce (measured after sliced)
- 2 Red Apples With Peel (cored & cut into thin slices)
- 2 cups Purple Grapes (whole)
- 2 tbsp Blanched Almond Butter
- 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 4 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Lemon Zest
- 1 tsp Thyme (spice)
- 1/2 tsp Salt (adjust to taste and health requirements)
- 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
Topping Ingredient
- 1/2 cup Almond Flakes (toasted)
Salad Instructions
Gather the salad ingredients.
Wash the lettuce thoroughly and slice into 1 inch strips.
Wash the apples, leave the peel, and slice them into small pieces.
Wash the whole grapes.
Toss all three ingredients together.
Dressing The Salad
Mix the almond butter and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl.
Add the honey, lemon juice and zest and mix well.
Blend in the other ingredients and stir until blended well.
Add the dressing to the pre-prepared salad and mix well.
Top the salad with toasted almonds.
Though the salad can be prepared in advance, it is best to toss it with the dressing right before serving.
