Mediterranean Baked Lemony Honey Salmon

- Deep Baking Dish
- Small Bowl (for preparing the marinade)
Ingredients
- 4 slices Salmon (fresh or frozen, skin and bones removed)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Rind
- 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 2 tablespoons Garlic Cloves (measured after minced)
- ½ teaspoon Salt (adjust to taste or health requirements)
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill (measured after diced – 1 tablespoon for the marinade, 1 tablespoon for the garnish)
- 2 teaspoons Nigella Seeds
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients.

- Rinse the salmon slices and dry them off.
- Arrange the slices in a deep baking dish leaving space between them.
- In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice, lemon rind, olive oil and honey until blended well.
- Add the minced garlic, salt, ground black pepper and 1 tablespoon of the diced dill. Mix well.

- Pour the mixture over the salmon slices in the baking dish.
- Gently turn the slices into the marinade, covering all sides of the slices.

- Cover the dish and refrigerate for half an hour.
- In the meantime, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- After the half hour, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of nigella seeds on the slices and bake the salmon for 20 minutes or until golden.
- Place the fish on a serving plate and garnish with the fresh diced dill.
- Delicious!
