Ingredients
- 1 Fresh Lime (fillet and separate into small pieces without leaving skin)
- 2 tbsp Fresh Mint Leaves (remove the leaves from the stalk)
- 2 cups Water
- 2 tsp Honey (adjust to taste or health requirements)
- Fresh Mint Leaves (used for garnish)
- Slices Of Lime (the lime is cut into circles – use for garnish)
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients
- Remove the outer peel of the lime. Remove the pulp from the segments of the lime without leaving the peel or seeds.
- Remove the mint leaves from their stalk.
- In a small pot, place the: lime pulp pieces, mint leaves, water and honey.
- Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour the brew through a strainer.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and slices of lime before serving.
- Serve hot or chilled.
