Vegan Almond Cherry Cocoa Granola
This Vegan Almond Cherry Cocoa Granola Recipe helps you create a delicious unique granola. Follow the recipe instructions to pair healthy oats with cocoa, cherries and almonds. A chocolate delight great for breakfast, dessert, a snack or treat!
Equipment
- Small Bowl (for mixing the cocoa mixture)
- Electric Mixer
- Large Baking Pan
- Large Baking Sheet
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Cocoa
- 2 tbsp Boling Hot Water
- 1/2 cup Blanched Almond Butter
- 1/2 cup Pure Maple Surup
- 3 cups Oats
- 1/2 cup Almond Flakes
- 1/2 cup Dried Cherries (organic without preservatives and no added sugar)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Mix the cocoa and boiling hot water until blended well. Let Cool
- In an electric mixer whisk the almond butter and maple syrup until well blended.
- Add the cocoa water mixture and blend well.
- On a low speed, gradually add the oats and whisk until well blended.
- Blend in the almond flakes.
- Manually crumble the dough onto a baking pan lined with a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Let Cool.
- Toss in the dried cherries.
