Sesame Cake
3Eggs
3/4cupRaw Tahini
1/2cupHoney
1tspPure Vanilla Extract
1 cupApplesauce(without sugar or preservatives)
1 cupWholegrain Spelt Flour(sifted)
1/2cupOat Flour
1/2cupSesame Seed Flour(grind 1/4 cup of sesame seeds in coffee/spice grinder)
2tspBaking Soda
1/8tspSalt

6tbspRaw Tahini
6tbspWater
3/4cupHoney
6tbspCocoa Powder
Instructions
Prepare The Tahini Cocoa Glaze
Use the link at the bottom of the post to get to the recipe. For this this cake, you'll need a recipe and a half. Use the quantities on the ingredient list above.
Set aside.
Prepare The Sesame Cake
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
Whisk the eggs and raw tahini in an electric mixer until well blended.
Add the honey and vanilla and continue to whisk for another minute.
Add the applesauce and blend well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients and whisk until well blended.
Pour the batter into the baking pan.
Swirl ¼ cup of the pre-prepared glaze into the batter. The rest will be used for the cake's glaze topping.
Bake for 40 minutes or until golden.
Let cool well before removing from the pan.
Coat the cake with the pre-prepared Tahini Cocoa Glaze.
