  • 1 Large Pot
  • 1 Sieve

Ingredients
  

  • 8 Chicken Drumsticks (remove the chicken skin and trim the fat. )
  • 5 Carrots (medium size, peeled and cut into chunks)
  • 5 Zucchini (medium size, peeled and cut into chunks)
  • 4 Onions (medium size, peeled, leave whole)
  • 4 Celery Stalks
  • Fresh Parsley (a bunch)
  • Fresh Dill (a bunch)
  • 2 tsp Salt (adjust to taste or health requirements)
  • 2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 12 cups Water ( 2 1/2 liters - 2 1/2 quarts)

Instructions
 

  • Remove the chicken skin and trim the fat.

  • In a large pot, boil the chicken with the water. Skim the particles that rise to the top.
  • Add the spices and stir.

  • Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for an hour.
  • Let cool and remove the chicken and vegetables. Set aside.
  • Strain the broth through a sieve.

Notes

Serve hot with vegetables and chicken.
