  • 1 1/2 cups Red Onion (peeled & thinly sliced)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt (adjust to taste or health requirements)
  • 6 cups Fresh Arugula Leaves (thoroughly washed, measured while loosely packed)
  • 3 cups Fresh Figs (cut to eights)

Dressing

  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Silan – Date Honey

Topping

  • 1 1/2 cups Walnuts (coarsly chopped, toasted)

Gathering The Ingredients

  • Gather all the makings of the salad.

Toasting The Walnuts

  • Preheat the oven to 150 Celsius (302 Fahrenheit).
  • Break the walnuts into pieces.
  • Place the walnuts on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the walnuts for 10 minutes. Let cool.

Preparing The Onion

  • Slice the onion thinly and place in a small bowl.
